Assistant Manager, Reservations (Inbound Travel Agency – Asia Market, Focus on China)

Description

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager, Reservations, to oversee quotations, bookings, invoicing, and reservation processes for inbound travel, with a specialization in the China market. This role focuses on delivering exceptional service to Chinese clients, maintaining operational efficiency, and fostering strong relationships with clients and partners.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Prepare accurate and competitive travel quotations for Chinese clients and partners. • Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate favorable rates and secure service availability. • Manage reservations for accommodations, transportation, tours, and other travel services. • Input booking details into the reservation system accurately and provide timely confirmations. • Generate and manage invoices for confirmed bookings. • Monitor payments and follow up on outstanding balances to ensure prompt collection. • Serve as the main point of contact for Chinese clients, delivering professional and responsive service. • Address client inquiries and resolve issues to ensure high customer satisfaction. • Work closely with internal teams to ensure efficient operations and seamless service delivery. • Provide guidance and support to junior reservation staff as required. • Stay updated on travel trends and preferences in the China market. • Analyze booking data and prepare reports to inform strategic decision-making.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Tourism, Hospitality, or Business. • 3–5 years of experience in reservations or travel operations, with a focus on the China market. • Proficiency in reservation systems and invoicing tools. • Strong understanding of Chinese travel trends and client preferences.
