Air Cargo Reservation / Customer Service Officer

This exciting opportunity offers a challenging role within the dynamic airline cargo industry. As a Cargo Reservations & Planning Officer, you will play a crucial part in ensuring smooth cargo operations by managing bookings, optimizing space utilization, and building strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Efficiently handle cargo bookings, including changes and modifications. * Proactively manage overbooking situations and address any booking backlogs. * Monitor cargo lying lists to ensure timely clearance and delivery. * Optimize cargo space utilization by reallocating space as needed. * Liaise effectively with agents and headquarters to address operational issues and ensure smooth cargo flow. * Conduct flight planning activities and prepare comprehensive cargo-related reports. * Build and maintain strong working relationships with airline principals, key freight forwarders, and other relevant stakeholders to achieve company objectives. * Willingness to undertake other duties as assigned by the Manager.

Qualifications and Requirements

**Requirements:** * Minimum GCE ‘O’ Level or equivalent. * Prior experience in the cargo or airfreight industry is considered a significant advantage. * Highly self-motivated, resourceful, and able to work independently with a proactive and results-oriented approach. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.). * Singaporean or Permanent Resident citizens only. * Willingness to work a 5.5-day work week.
