Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our management team as an Assistant Manager. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in upholding exceptional standards of food, service, and guest experience. You will support the General Manager in the overall management of the establishment, contributing to strategic planning, team development, and ensuring smooth daily operations. Responsibilities and Duties
* Ensure the highest levels of service are consistently provided to all customers. * Work towards achieving monthly forecasted food and beverage revenue targets. * Strictly adhere to established operating budgets and actively control costs. * Accurately process and account for all sales transactions. * Handle bill adjustments (voids, corrections, changes) according to established procedures. * Account for all bills used during your shift, including any voided ones. * Identify and rectify any errors in transactions or billing. * Balance the day's financial transactions against computer-generated reports at the end of your shift. * Ensure the establishment operates efficiently and in line with its core concept. * Be actively present and engaged in all levels of operations during service periods. * Delegate tasks to the floor team and regularly monitor their performance. * Conduct monthly inventory checks of all operational equipment and supplies. * Manage the requisitioning, storage, and responsible use of all operational equipment and supplies. * Prepare staff schedules and post them in a timely manner, ensuring adequate coverage and adjusting for absences. * Conduct or oversee daily pre-shift briefings to inform staff on preparation, service, menu, grooming, and customer needs. * Liaise effectively with the Kitchen and Reception teams regarding daily operations and quality control. * Handle guest feedback, requests, and inquiries, escalating them to senior management as necessary. * Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with customers. * Maintain a daily management log and communicate key information to all levels of management. * Support the training and professional development of all floor staff. * Collaborate with the reception team to optimize table utilization through effective planning. * Attend regular management meetings to ensure consistency in standards and procedures, and maintain a daily log. * Conduct performance reviews for all front-of-house staff. * Ensure all employees report for duty punctually and in the correct uniform. * Assist in building a strong and cohesive team by showing genuine interest in staff welfare, safety, and growth. * Undertake any other reasonable duties as assigned by management. * Consistently work as a team player, demonstrating flexibility to ensure efficient and profitable operations.
Qualifications and Requirements

Experience in conducting or overseeing pre-shift briefings. 14. Effective communication and liaison skills with kitchen and reception teams. 15. Competence in handling guest feedback and escalating issues appropriately. 16. Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain positive customer relations. 17. Ability to maintain a management log and communicate effectively with all management levels. 18. A passion for supporting the training and development of team members. 19. Experience in collaborating with reception to maximize table usage. 20. Ability to attend and contribute to regular management meetings. 21. Experience in conducting staff performance appraisals. 22.
