Description

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced culinary leader to take the helm of our kitchen operations. This pivotal role demands an individual with a keen eye for detail, a passion for culinary excellence, and the ability to inspire and guide a team. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of the kitchen, maintaining the highest standards of food quality, hygiene, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Manage all day-to-day operational functions within the kitchen. * Direct and oversee the food preparation process to guarantee consistent high-quality standards. * Maintain impeccable hygiene and sanitation standards throughout the restaurant's kitchen areas. * Regularly inspect food preparation, quality, and portion sizes. * Communicate any guest feedback or potential areas for improvement to the Executive Chef. * Manage staff attendance records and create kitchen work schedules. * Ensure all kitchen personnel maintain high standards of personal cleanliness. * Strategically plan and order necessary kitchen equipment and ingredients based on inventory needs. * Ensure all kitchen operations comply with relevant laws, health and safety guidelines, and licensing requirements. * Supervise and monitor portion control, workstations, refrigeration units, and perishable goods. * Manage tasks and responsibilities related to our enterprise resource planning (ERP) system. * Perform any other culinary-related tasks as directed by the Executive Chef or Food & Beverage Operations Manager.

Qualifications and Requirements

* Exceptional leadership and management capabilities. * A strong understanding of local culinary market trends. * Innovative and creative approach to food preparation and presentation. * Proven ability to motivate, direct, and communicate effectively with team members at all levels. * A minimum of five years of progressive experience in a similar culinary management role.
