Description
We are looking for a creative R&D Chef / Sous Chef to join a food manufacturing company. The role focuses on developing new recipes, conducting product tastings, and supporting food demonstrations for clients. Responsibilities and Duties
* Develop new recipes aligned with market trends and product applications * Conduct food tastings, product demonstrations, and sensory evaluations * Support inter-departmental projects for new or improved product launches * Provide training and troubleshooting for clients on-site or in demo kitchens * Manage and maintain demo kitchen setup, equipment, and operations * Prepare food presentations, photography, and video demonstrations * Ensure compliance with hygiene and food safety standards * Collaborate with the team on creative food concepts and applications
Qualifications and Requirements
* Recognised culinary qualification with minimum 1 year of culinary experience (fresh graduates welcome) * Experience in recipe development and food presentation preferred * Strong teamwork, communication, and technical knowledge * Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) * Willingness to travel to various sites when required * Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
