**Job Description:** **Reservations Agent** This key role plays a vital part in ensuring guest satisfaction and maximizing hotel revenue. The Reservations Agent will be responsible for handling all guest inquiries and reservations, providing exceptional customer service, and contributing to the overall success of the hotel's operations.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Respond to guest inquiries and process reservations efficiently via phone, email, and online channels. * Provide guests with accurate and up-to-date information about hotel facilities, services, and current promotions. * Maximize room revenue and occupancy through effective upselling and cross-selling techniques. * Collaborate effectively with the front office, revenue management, and sales teams to ensure smooth hotel operations. * Address and resolve guest complaints and issues promptly and professionally. * Maintain accurate and detailed records of all reservations and guest preferences. * Participate in all scheduled briefings, meetings, and training sessions. * Be willing to perform other reasonable duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Requirements

* Minimum Diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field. * At least 1 year of experience in a reservations or guest services role within the hospitality industry. * Knowledge of hotel property management systems (PMS) such as Opera is advantageous but not essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for effectively interacting with guests and colleagues. * Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. * Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in a second language is considered a valuable asset.
