Description

Oversee the South Indian section of the kitchen and daily operations.

Responsibilities and Duties

- Prepare and present authentic Andhra South Indian dishes in line with the menu. - Ensure dishes maintain the integrity of Indian flavours and culinary traditions. - Focus on the presentation of dishes to meet high restaurant standards. - Prioritise kitchen safety and strict adherence to food hygiene standards. - Handle and store all food items to maintain freshness and quality. - Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff, supporting a harmonious work environment. - Be flexible to undertake additional duties as directed by the Head Chef.

Qualifications and Requirements

- Minimum 10+ years of experience in a hotel environment. - Strong background in Andhra cuisine, Tandoor, and Indian curries. - Speciality dishes: Dum Biryani, Tandoori Chicken, Kebabs, Nellore Fish Curry. - Familiar with Indian culinary methods, products, and techniques. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
