HEAD CHEF

We're on the lookout for an imaginative and accomplished culinary leader to helm our kitchen operations. As Head Chef, you will be the driving force behind our back-of-house, orchestrating daily activities and guiding our talented kitchen team. Your mission will be to consistently deliver exceptional food quality to our guests while effectively managing food and labor expenses.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Take charge of all kitchen functions, from food preparation and cooking to ensuring a spotless cleanup. * Oversee the upkeep of all kitchen equipment, arranging for maintenance as necessary. * Lead and supervise our team of chefs and cooks, fostering a collaborative environment. * Address and resolve any operational challenges to maintain uninterrupted food service. * Maintain a well-organized and efficient kitchen environment. * Develop appealing menus and determine pricing based on ingredient availability and cost considerations. * Ensure all kitchen staff strictly adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines, maintaining a clean and hygienic workspace. * Examine both raw and finished food products to guarantee uncompromising quality. * Partner with the general manager and owner to ensure kitchen operations align with the overall business objectives. * Conduct monthly inventory assessments. * Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with food suppliers. * Recruit, onboard, and train skilled chefs and kitchen personnel.
