Reporting directly to the Assistant Director of Food & Beverage, the F&B Operations Manager plays a crucial role in elevating the hotel’s food and beverage offerings as a brand differentiator. This dynamic, hands-on leadership role ensures the smooth success of both F&B and Banquet operations. Responsibilities and Duties
* Oversee the day-to-day Food & Beverage and Banquet operations. * Drive sales potential in appointed outlets as directed by the Food & Beverage Head of Department. * Manage departmental costs in line with sales while maintaining quality. * Lead the team with an entrepreneurial mindset, identifying opportunities to grow business. * Ensure strict adherence to fire safety, hygiene (including HACCP), and all hotel regulations. * Foster innovation and encourage idea-sharing across Kempinski hotels. * Support Human Resources and Talent Development initiatives. * Assist with annual budgeting and monthly financial performance reviews. * Source and improve quality of products while communicating effectively with stakeholders. * Develop annual marketing plans in collaboration with Sales & Marketing, including competitor analysis. * Stay updated with global and local food & beverage trends. * Ensure outlet managers implement effective training programs.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Minimum 5 years of F&B management experience, preferably in luxury hotels. * Proven expertise in various dining concepts, including all-day dining, banquets, signature restaurants, and celebrity chef venues. * Fluent in spoken and written English. * Strong leadership and motivational abilities with adaptable communication skills. * Positive, resourceful, and solution-oriented, able to thrive under pressure. * Excellent multi-tasking and organizational skills, with ability to meet tight deadlines.
