We are seeking a proactive and organized individual to lead our kitchen team and ensure smooth daily operations. The Kitchen Supervisor will play a crucial role in maintaining a high standard of food preparation, hygiene, and team coordination. This position is ideal for someone with practical kitchen experience and a passion for creating quality food in a fast-paced setting. Please note that our kitchen adheres to halal certification standards.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Direct and guide a small team of kitchen staff, including performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and potential terminations. * Provide on-the-job training for new kitchen personnel and enforce strict adherence to safety protocols. * Develop daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules and create staff work assignments. * Manage the ordering of food ingredients and supplies for production. * Maintain a safe and hygienic kitchen environment at all times. * Organize and manage food inventory, storage, and distribution. * Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations, quality standards, and hygiene practices. * Support the Kitchen Manager in various operational tasks as needed.

Qualifications and Requirements

* Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a chef, preferably in a restaurant setting. * Prior management or supervisory experience is a significant plus. * Strong communication skills and demonstrated leadership abilities. * Ability to handle multiple tasks and thrive in a high-pressure environment. * Genuine passion for food and culinary arts.
