Retail Operation Manager

Description

We are looking for a proactive and detail-driven Retail Operations Manager to oversee the smooth operation of our retail stores. This role focuses on maintaining operational efficiency, upholding visual merchandising standards, promoting team collaboration, and delivering outstanding customer experiences. The Retail Operations Manager will serve as a key liaison between our head office and retail teams, driving performance and ensuring alignment with brand values and objectives.

Responsibilities and Duties

Train and supervise store managers and sales associates to deliver outstanding customer service, ensuring a positive and memorable shopping experience. Provide coaching, motivation, and performance reviews to foster team spirit and drive continuous improvement. Set and achieve sales targets for each store, considering market conditions and trends. Plan and manage store staff schedules to optimize sales and manpower efficiency. Ensure visual merchandising aligns with the brand image and seasonal campaigns. Work closely with the marketing team to implement in-store promotions and displays. Conduct regular store audits to ensure compliance with guidelines and company policies. Communicate corporate directives, updates, and feedback to store teams. Share insights and operational challenges from the store with the head office for actionable solutions. Coordinate with the inventory team to maintain optimal stock levels. Provide feedback on product performance, potential improvements, competitive trends, and emerging styles.

Qualifications and Requirements

Minimum diploma with 5 years of experience in the retail industry, including at least 2 years in a managerial role. Proven track record of operational excellence and a customer-focused approach to achieving goals. Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Exceptional leadership qualities, including empathy, understanding, and the ability to inspire and motivate team members.
