Description

The Hotel Front Office Trainer is responsible for managing training and development for the front office team. Key duties include conducting employee orientations, maintaining training records, coordinating internal and external programs, and supporting audits. The trainer will develop the annual training budget, track training effectiveness, and handle PMS Opera training for new hires. Additionally, they will curate activities to enhance service standards and design programs to build workforce capabilities.

Responsibilities and Duties

Communicate learning needs and programs with stakeholders. Manage and file training records, supporting audits and compliance. Foster a learning environment and assist with HR-related activities. Coordinate with external partners on learning and development. Develop and implement learning plans and conduct needs analysis. Oversee the training budget and manage external partners. Update and conduct employee orientations. Monitor training calendar and assess program effectiveness. Conduct PMS Opera training for new hires. Curate activities to enhance service standards. Provide administrative support for the Training team.

Qualifications and Requirements

Minimum qualification: Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Training, or a related field. Proven experience in training and development within the hospitality industry. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage training budgets and external partnerships. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Experience with learning management systems and training programs. Ability to assess training needs and develop tailored learning solutions. Strong organizational and administrative skills, with attention to detail. Knowledge of training compliance and audit requirements. Flexibility and willingness to adapt to evolving business needs. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience in conducting training for front-line staff (e.g., PMS Opera training).
