Sous Chef

Description

We are seeking a creative and experienced Kitchen Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for food and culinary innovation, along with strong leadership capabilities. This role is responsible for managing kitchen operations, developing standout recipes, ensuring food quality, and maintaining a safe and clean kitchen environment.

Responsibilities and Duties

*Develop and create innovative and unique recipes that align with the restaurant’s brand and customer preferences. *Supervise kitchen and serving staff, providing guidance and ensuring efficient daily operations. *Collaborate with the bar team to craft thoughtful and flavorful food and drink pairings. *Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations in accordance with industry standards. *Manage inventory, monitor stock levels, and place orders for kitchen/bar supplies as needed. *Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen and bar area at all times. *Work closely with management on cost control, menu planning, and customer satisfaction initiatives.

Qualifications and Requirements

*Proven experience as a Kitchen Chef, Head Chef, or in a similar culinary leadership role. *Strong knowledge of modern culinary techniques, food presentation, and kitchen workflows. *Excellent leadership, time management, and communication skills. *Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. *Creative mindset with the ability to innovate and inspire a team. *Sound understanding of food safety and sanitation standards. *Experience in inventory management and cost control.
