Kitchen Assistant

Description

We are looking for a dedicated and hardworking Kitchen Assistant to support our chefs and kitchen staff in day-to-day operations. This is an entry-level position ideal for individuals who are passionate about food and eager to grow in a professional kitchen environment.

Responsibilities and Duties

*Wash, peel, and chop vegetables and other ingredients for meal preparation *Assist with basic cooking and plating as instructed by the chef *Clean and sanitize utensils, dishes, and kitchen equipment *Maintain strict hygiene, cleanliness, and safety standards in all kitchen areas *Receive, organize, and store food supplies and ingredients properly

Qualifications and Requirements

*A positive attitude and willingness to learn on the job *Ability to follow instructions and work cooperatively in a team *Basic food safety knowledge is a plus (training can be provided) *Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods *Strong attention to cleanliness and hygiene
