RESTAURANT ASSISTANT MANAGER

Responsibilities and Duties

* Coordinate and oversee the daily flow of restaurant activities to maintain smooth operations. * Provide guidance and constructive feedback to both kitchen and service staff, fostering a collaborative atmosphere. * Generate daily financial reports, tracking revenue and expenses to manage the restaurant's budget effectively. * Engage with guests, addressing any concerns and building strong, positive relationships. * Manage and inventory restaurant supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels. * Process weekly and monthly payroll for all staff members. * Ensure that all restaurant hygiene and safety protocols are strictly adhered to. * Develop and implement staff work schedules that meet the restaurant’s operational needs. * Onboard and train new team members, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to excel.

Qualifications and Requirements

* Verifiable experience working within a restaurant environment. * Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service. * Understanding of basic financial management principles. * Familiarity with restaurant management software and tools. * Ability to accurately recall and articulate menu details. * Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
