Description
The Sales Executive is responsible for developing and managing Food Service business accounts, building strong customer relationships, and identifying new sales opportunities. Key duties include promoting sales strategies, analyzing market trends, handling quotations (including tenders), and managing customer complaints. This role involves close collaboration with Operations, Management, and Accounts teams to address sales needs and ensure timely payments. Providing personalized customer service, including delivery support, is essential. A valid driving license is advantageous for this role.
Responsibilities and Duties
Expand and maintain existing Food Service business accounts. Build and strengthen relationships with customers. Identify and pursue new business opportunities. Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and grow business with current customers. Establish strong frontline connections with customers. Address trends, pricing, and other sales-related issues effectively. Collaborate with Operations and Management teams to align sales needs and goals. Analyze market and sales data to stay updated on industry developments. Prepare and manage running order and tender quotations. Assist the Accounts team in tracking overdue payments and following up with customers. Resolve customer complaints efficiently. Provide tailored services to customers, including delivery support. Undertake additional responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications and Requirements
Diploma or degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. 1-2 years of experience in sales, customer service, or a similar role, preferably in the Food Service industry. Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset. Ability to identify opportunities, develop strategies, and drive business growth. Proficiency in analyzing market trends and sales data to inform decision-making. Skilled in preparing quotations, including tender documents. Excellent problem-solving abilities to manage customer complaints effectively. Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams such as Operations, Management, and Accounts. Thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Possession of a valid driving license is an added advantage.
