Description

This key leadership position requires a highly driven and results-oriented individual to lead and manage a regional sales team towards achieving ambitious business goals. The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing effective sales strategies, overseeing key functions within the region, and building strong customer and partner relationships.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Lead and mentor the sales team to achieve revenue, expense, and market share targets, with a strong focus on employee development. * Oversee regional operations, including Marketing, Sales Engineering, Channel, and Services functions. * Ensure comprehensive market coverage across all verticals, partners, and product offerings. * Prepare and deliver accurate weekly and monthly sales forecasts. * Manage and achieve business objectives within allocated budget constraints. * Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to drive incremental business growth with distributors, channel partners, and end-users. * Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with customers and partners at all levels. * Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including expansion into new markets and verticals. * Communicate identified business requirements effectively to senior management. * Monitor and analyze competitor activities to identify potential threats and opportunities. * Build, motivate, and lead a high-performing, culturally diverse sales team. * Foster a positive and collaborative team environment. * Identify and address performance gaps within the team. * Develop and implement effective training programs for sales team members. * Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks that may impact sales performance and business objectives. * Maintain the highest levels of personal and professional integrity, building strong credibility with partners and customers. * Be willing to travel regionally as required to meet with customers, partners, and attend industry events.

Qualifications and Requirements

* Minimum 12-15 years of experience in sales and business development roles. * Minimum 5 years of experience in regional or country leadership and management positions. * Strong understanding of the telecommunications industry. * Proven track record in driving revenue growth, profitability, and market share. * Solid understanding of business fundamentals, including strategic planning, financial management, and market analysis. * Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate, mentor, and develop high-performing teams. * Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. * Strong negotiation and influencing skills. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop effective solutions. * Excellent time management and organizational skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and a results-oriented approach.
