Assistant Restaurant Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the leadership and day-to-day operations of our dining venue. This role plays a crucial part in delivering outstanding guest experiences, supporting team development, and ensuring smooth service flow. The ideal candidate brings hospitality experience, a hands-on attitude, and a strong drive for operational excellence.

Responsibilities and Duties

*Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing the restaurant’s daily operations and team performance *Help optimize overall outlet productivity and customer satisfaction *Provide guidance to staff and resolve recurring operational challenges *Support staff training, mentoring, and on-the-job coaching to uphold service standards *Monitor and enforce cleanliness, hygiene, and safety protocols *Ensure guests receive exceptional service and have a positive dining experience *Adapt to both indoor and outdoor dining environments based on customer and operational needs *Participate in reviewing and improving the outlet’s monthly financial performance, including analyzing profit and loss *Utilize point-of-sale (POS) systems effectively and support beverage preparation when required

Qualifications and Requirements

*Prior experience in the food & beverage industry, preferably in a restaurant or hotel/resort setting *Proven ability to lead by example and work well within a team *Flexible and adaptable to rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays *Comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor dining environments *Knowledge of POS systems and basic beverage mixing is an advantage *Understanding of F&B financial metrics such as revenue and cost control *Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and customer service skills
