Reservation & Ticketing Executive

Description

We are seeking a Reservation & Ticketing Executive to join a dynamic team in the travel industry. The role involves managing bookings, assisting clients, handling ticketing processes, and contributing to strategic business initiatives. This is a permanent position with competitive salary and bonus incentives.

Responsibilities and Duties

- Handle bookings and walk-in inquiries, overseeing the full ticketing process. - Accurately process reservations, confirmations, amendments, re-bookings, and re-issuance for passengers. - Respond to inquiries from passengers, agents, corporate clients, and BSPs via phone and email. - Process mileage redemptions, ticket issuance, and schedule changes efficiently. - Maintain and update member accounts with profile changes. - Provide clients with information about promotions, program materials, and assist with forms. - Address feedback and complaints, working with support teams to resolve issues effectively. - Participate in strategic planning, including conducting needs analysis and budget preparation. - Identify potential business opportunities during team discussions. - Oversee ticket handling and coordinate event logistics. - Stay informed about market trends, airline requirements, and changes in the industry. - Perform additional duties assigned by management, ensuring quality standards are met and continuously improved.

Qualifications and Requirements

- At least 2 years of relevant experience with a solid understanding of airfares and reservations. - Ability to work independently, remain patient, and perform effectively under pressure. - Strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Proficiency in air ticketing systems and GDS (Amadeus) is preferred. - Knowledge of the Sabre system is an added advantage.
