We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cook / Kitchen Supervisor with expertise in North Indian cuisine to join our culinary team. This role involves food preparation, kitchen operations oversight, and ensuring high standards of hygiene and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food, efficient in managing kitchen operations, and capable of supervising a team in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities and Duties

Food Preparation & Cooking *Prepare ingredients according to recipes by slicing, chopping, mincing, whipping, stirring, and mixing. *Execute hot meal preparation including grilling, sautéing, roasting, frying, broiling, and assembling cold dishes. *Ensure meals are seasoned correctly, plated properly, and meet taste and quality expectations. *Specialize in preparing authentic North Indian dishes. Kitchen Operations & Supervision *Supervise team members to ensure kitchen and service areas are clean, organized, and hygienic. *Oversee and assist with dishwashing, pot washing, and routine cleaning as per daily/weekly schedules. *Maintain accurate temperature logs, HACCP records, and adhere to food safety regulations. Inventory & Cost Management *Manage food inventory, rotation, and labeling. *Control food costs and kitchen expenses within budget. *Assist in ordering and tracking stock to avoid waste and shortages. Customer Service & Quality Assurance *Contribute to the planning of daily, holiday, and themed menus in collaboration with supervisors. *Listen and respond to customer feedback and complaints, resolving issues within scope and escalating when necessary. *Implement suggestions for service improvement within operational guidelines. Team Contribution & Improvement *Participate in programs and initiatives aimed at improving service quality and employee productivity. *Provide feedback on existing dishes and help develop new menu items to keep offerings fresh and appealing.

Qualifications and Requirements

*Proven experience cooking North Indian cuisine. *Ability to work in rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays. *Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and kitchen sanitation protocols. *Experience in supervising kitchen staff and maintaining workflow under pressure. *Excellent time management, communication, and organizational skills. *Flexible, team-oriented attitude and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
