Kitchen Assistant

Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food to our high standards, ensuring food safety and hygiene are maintained at all times. You'll be involved in various aspects of food preparation and will contribute to a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Prepare and cook food promptly, adhering to our established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). * Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain the highest standards of food quality and hygiene. * Manage food preparation tasks, including washing and cooking rice, and preparing vegetables and meat. * Prepare ingredients according to standardized recipes. * Maintain cleanliness in food preparation areas and ensure kitchen equipment is clean. * Monitor food quality, track product expiry dates, and record stock opening dates. * Practice "Clean As You Go" to keep the work area clean, tidy, and organized. * Perform other reasonable tasks as assigned by supervisors to meet business needs.

Qualifications and Requirements

* A genuine interest in Japanese cuisine and cooking. * A positive attitude, an enthusiastic personality, and a willingness to learn quickly. * Ability to work independently, take initiative, and collaborate effectively within a team. * Must be a Singaporean Citizen or Permanent Resident.
