Description

FK Dunamis Group, which operates Hachi Restaurant, The Public Izakaya, and The Public Izakaya 2, is seeking a committed Junior Sous Chef to join its growing team. This role offers exposure to both fine dining omakase and casual izakaya concepts, working closely with the owner and senior chefs to deliver authentic Japanese cuisine. You will be involved in menu development, daily kitchen operations, and team training. EA License Number: 22C1267 EA Personnel: R22110252

Responsibilities and Duties

* Prepare, cook, and serve Japanese dishes daily * Collaborate with the owner and chefs on seasonal menu creation * Liaise with suppliers and manage procurement and inventory levels * Monitor and control kitchen costs in line with budget guidelines * Train and mentor junior chefs in techniques and service standards

Qualifications and Requirements

* Minimum 4 years of culinary experience, preferably in Japanese cuisine * Broad spectrum of culinary techniques and knowledge of dining trends * Strong ability to innovate and contribute to new menu ideas * Excellent teamwork, communication, and leadership skills * Passionate about Japanese food culture and service excellence
