Housekeeping Attendant

Description

The Housekeeping Attendant ensures that the facility is kept clean, tidy, and safe at all times, maintaining high standards of cleanliness to provide a welcoming and comfortable environment for members and visitors.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Maintain cleanliness in the lounge, restaurant, and common areas. * Perform cleaning tasks, including sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, and mopping. * Clean and restock all toilets with supplies such as tissue, hand towels, and soap. * Conduct weekly maintenance tasks, such as descaling taps, cleaning plugs, and tiling. * Operate mechanized cleaning equipment as required. * Ensure adequate supplies (e.g., towels, tissue, soap) are available in bathrooms and common areas. * Empty trash and maintain all floor areas in a clean, safe, and orderly condition. * Monitor and report necessary repairs, replacements, maintenance, or safety issues. * Minimize disruption to building users, ensuring safety notices are placed where needed (e.g., wet floors, hazardous materials). * Collaborate with team members, attend training sessions, wear designated uniforms, and maintain professionalism. * Handle confidentiality responsibly and avoid situations where sensitive information may be overheard. * Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

* High school diploma or equivalent. * 1-2 years of experience in a similar role within a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant. * Proficiency in English. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Exceptional customer service abilities. * Energetic, positive attitude with a strong work ethic. * Team-oriented with excellent collaboration skills. * Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
