Assistant Restaurant Manager

Responsibilities and Duties

- Operational Management: - Oversee and ensure the efficient day-to-day operations of the restaurant. - Maintain high standards of service excellence and hygiene. - Monitor inventory levels, manage stock, and handle cash transactions accurately. - Plan staff schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels. - Team Leadership and Development: - Manage and train staff, fostering a high-performing team and a positive work atmosphere. - Customer Service and Sales: - Drive sales through effective operational execution and upselling techniques. - Handle customer feedback and resolve complaints to ensure guest satisfaction. - Event and Compliance: - Support event planning and execution, including menu recommendations. - Ensure compliance with safety, security, and company policies. - Reporting and Analysis: - Generate reports on sales, inventory, and operational performance.

Qualifications and Requirements

- Experience: - Assistant Manager: Minimum 5 years of experience in the food and beverage industry. - Supervisor: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, preferably in a supervisory role. - Skills and Abilities: - Ability to manage and train staff. - Strong customer service and problem-solving skills. - Ability to manage inventory and handle cash. - Knowledge of health and safety regulations. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. - Work Requirements: - Comfortable working retail hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
