We are seeking a proactive and reliable Kitchen Assistant to join our culinary team. You will play a vital role in daily kitchen operations by supporting food preparation, maintaining hygiene standards, and ensuring smooth service delivery. This role requires attention to detail, time management, and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities and Duties

*Cook and prepare meals according to the company’s recipes and quality guidelines *Handle daily prep duties during kitchen opening and closing (mise en place) *Keep all food prep areas clean, sanitized, and organized *Wash dishes and kitchen tools, and store them correctly after cleaning *Manage inventory of ingredients by sorting, labeling, and proper storage *Ensure food presentation and portion sizes meet set standards *Prepare guest orders promptly and accurately during service hours *Follow all food hygiene, storage, and safety procedures *Cut, chop, peel, and cook ingredients for all menu items as needed

Qualifications and Requirements

*Dispose of kitchen waste and rubbish regularly to maintain cleanliness *Sanitize equipment, workstations, and floors daily *Use kitchen tools and machines responsibly and report any issues *Support other kitchen stations when required *Carry out any additional duties as assigned by the kitchen supervisor or chef
