Description
We are looking for a skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Reservations Executive. Reporting to the Reservations and Communications Manager, this role involves interacting with internal and external customers in a friendly and efficient manner, ensuring guest satisfaction, and supporting revenue goals.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Ensure the reservations team responds to all guest requests within 24 hours of receipt. - Manage and follow up on daily trace reports to meet operational requirements. - Support the Reservations and Communications Manager and Revenue Manager in setting and achieving revenue targets. - Develop and implement effective processes for call handling, addressing customer inquiries, providing product descriptions, and closing sales. - Apply proper selling and up-selling techniques to maximize revenue opportunities. - Assist the Reservations and Communications Manager in providing training on reservations operations to the Reservations and Communications team and Front Office teams to ensure accuracy in guest reservations and enhance guest satisfaction.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Diploma in Hotel Management, Business Administration, or a related field. - At least 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role. - Basic knowledge of Opera Property Management System (OPMS) and related systems. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
