Reservations Executive

Description

We are seeking a professional and detail-oriented individual to manage the daily room reservations activities for our properties. This role involves handling reservations, supervising staff, and implementing strategies to meet sales goals and ensure guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities and Duties

- Respond to phone inquiries and follow standard call-taking procedures. - Monitor reservations staff to ensure adherence to procedures. - Review and manage daily tasks related to reservations. - Process individual, group, and series reservations, including booking, follow-ups, and rooming lists. - Conduct daily arrival checks for future reservations. - Verify creditworthiness with the accounting team and manage deposit processes. - Maintain an organized record-keeping system, including filing and guest history management. - Build and maintain relationships with business partners and suppliers. - Forward sales leads to the Sales department for action. - Ensure service quality that meets or exceeds guest and internal expectations. - Supervise Reservations Officers and oversee daily reservations activities. - Implement room-selling strategies as directed by management.

Qualifications and Requirements

- Proficient in sales, finance, and computer operations. - Willingness to work extended hours when necessary. - Certificate or Diploma in Hotel Management or a related field. - At least 2 years of experience as a Property Reservations Assistant in an international-class hotel or strong foundational knowledge in hotel reservations. - Articulate, ambitious, with a good sense of humor. - Sensitive to the needs of both guests and team members. - Positive role model with a professional attitude. - Fit and healthy to handle job responsibilities effectively.
