Responsibilities and Duties

* Prepare all menu items according to the Executive Chef's specifications and quality standards. * Maintain consistently high standards of hygiene, health, and safety within the kitchen. * Report any equipment malfunctions or potential hazards to the Executive Chef or a senior team member immediately. * Strictly control food waste and ensure all waste is reported following the correct procedures. * Implement proper stock rotation practices, ensuring ingredients are used before their expiration dates. * Adhere precisely to all established portion control guidelines. * Consistently produce food with the highest standards of quality and presentation, following performance manuals and recipes. * Ensure all work surfaces, refrigeration units, and storage areas are cleaned and sanitized thoroughly at the end of each shift. * Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with all colleagues. * Collaborate with the Executive Chef or a senior team member to develop recipes and calculate costing as needed, contributing to monthly profit margin goals. * Participate in the monthly physical inventory count of restaurant items, including plates and utensils. * Perform various other job-related tasks as assigned.
