We are seeking a dynamic and proactive individual to oversee the daily operations of both the front and back of house in our restaurant. This pivotal role requires someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional service, maximizing customer satisfaction, and ensuring the smooth and efficient running of all aspects of the business. You will lead and inspire our team, maintain high standards of quality and hygiene, and contribute to the continued success and positive image of our establishment.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Oversee the day-to-day operations of both the customer-facing and kitchen areas of the restaurant. * Provide outstanding service to guests and strive to exceed their expectations. * Address customer feedback and complaints in an efficient and effective manner. * Regularly assess the quality of our offerings and explore potential new suppliers. * Organize and supervise staff schedules and shifts. * Evaluate employee performance and offer constructive feedback to enhance productivity. * Forecast future needs for supplies, kitchen tools, and cleaning materials. * Ensure strict adherence to all sanitation and safety regulations. * Uphold the positive reputation of the restaurant and suggest innovative ways to enhance it. * Manage operational costs effectively and identify opportunities to minimize waste. * Generate comprehensive reports on weekly, monthly, and annual financial performance. * Promote the restaurant within the local community through positive interactions and events. * Recommend strategies to attract a wider customer base, such as promotions and social media engagement. * Train both new and existing team members on best practices in customer service. * Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the long-term success of the restaurant's operations.

Qualifications and Requirements

* Proven experience in coordinating restaurant operations, encompassing both front and back of house. * A strong commitment to delivering superior customer service and maximizing guest satisfaction. * Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to handle customer complaints effectively and efficiently. * Keen attention to detail in reviewing product quality and a proactive approach to researching new vendors. * Demonstrated ability to organize and supervise staff shifts effectively. * Experience in appraising staff performance and providing constructive feedback for improvement. * Ability to estimate future needs for supplies and equipment to ensure smooth operations. * Thorough understanding of and commitment to enforcing sanitation and safety regulations. * A proactive approach to managing the restaurant's image and suggesting improvements. * Strong financial acumen with the ability to control operational costs and identify areas for waste reduction. * Experience in creating detailed reports on revenue and expenses. * Ability to engage with the local community and promote the restaurant's brand. * Experience in recommending strategies to reach a broader audience. * Proven ability to train employees on customer service best practices. * Experience in implementing policies and protocols to maintain efficient restaurant operations.
