Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Chef de Partie to join our culinary team. This role involves hands-on preparation and cooking of dishes to our establishment's specifications, ensuring consistent quality and presentation. The Chef de Partie will also play a role in guiding junior kitchen staff, managing inventory, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Collaboration with the wider kitchen team and a commitment to upholding our culinary standards are essential for this position.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Prepare and cook menu items following established recipes and quality standards, ensuring consistency in every dish. * Supervise and coordinate the work of junior kitchen personnel, making sure they adhere to procedures and maintain a clean workspace. * Keep track of ingredient stock levels, assist with ordering supplies, and manage inventory to ensure freshness and availability. * Contribute to the creation of new menu items and the updating of existing offerings to maintain appeal. * Ensure that all prepared dishes meet our standards for flavor, visual presentation, and hygiene. * Follow and enforce all food safety and sanitation regulations within the kitchen environment. * Work closely with other chefs and kitchen staff to promote efficient service and smooth kitchen operations. .

Qualifications and Requirements

* Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or a strong background as a Commis Chef ready to step up. * Solid culinary skills and a good understanding of various cooking techniques. * Ability to lead and guide junior team members effectively. * Knowledge of inventory management and basic food costing principles. * A strong commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety. * Ability to work collaboratively within a team in a fast-paced environment. * Willingness to work 5 days per week, with potential for overtime based on operational needs. * Comfortable working in the Tanjong Pagar area
