Assistant Restaurant Manager

This position offers an opportunity to support the restaurant management team in providing exceptional service and ensuring guest satisfaction. You'll play a key role in leading the service team, managing bar operations, and maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities and Duties

- Team Leadership and Development: - Assist the Restaurant Manager in leading and motivating the service and bar team to deliver outstanding guest experiences. - Train and mentor staff in service standards, menu knowledge, and bar operations. - Operational Management: - Support daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures, reservation management, and guest relations. - Manage bar operations, ensuring high-quality beverage preparation and service. - Coordinate kitchen and front-of-house operations for seamless service. - Guest Experience and Satisfaction: - Maintain and uphold high service standards to consistently exceed guest expectations. - Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints with professionalism and efficiency. - Strive to resolve issues to the guest's satisfaction. - Compliance and Standards: - Collaborate with management to implement and uphold restaurant policies and procedures regarding health, safety, and sanitation. - Financial and Business Acumen: - Demonstrate a solid understanding of restaurant financials, including budgeting, cost control, revenue management, and developing strategies to meet revenue goals. - Professional Development: - Participate in skill-enhancing opportunities and take on additional tasks that contribute to restaurant success.

Qualifications and Requirements

- Experience: - Minimum 3 years of experience in a full-service restaurant and a strong understanding of restaurant operations. - Knowledge and Skills: - Knowledge of wine, spirits, and cocktail preparation. - Proven leadership and communication skills. - Excellent customer service skills and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences. - Knowledge of fine dining etiquette is preferred. - Understanding of restaurant financials.
