We're seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Operations Assistant to support our culinary team. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our kitchen. You'll be involved in various tasks, from food preparation to maintaining cleanliness and managing inventory.

Responsibilities and Duties

- Food Preparation and Handling: - Prepare fresh vegetables by washing and cutting them to required specifications. - Process and marinate meats according to established recipes. - Execute cooking tasks, including stir-frying, deep-frying, and steaming, to ensure dishes are prepared to our standards. - Kitchen Maintenance and Hygiene: - Maintain all kitchen equipment in working order, promptly reporting any issues. - Ensure the kitchen is consistently clean and hygienic, adhering to all safety and sanitation guidelines. - Inventory and Procurement: - Conduct daily stock checks to monitor inventory levels. - Place orders for necessary supplies to replenish stock. - Verify the accuracy of invoices and inspect incoming goods for quality and quantity. - Team Support: - Assist in the management of kitchen staff, helping to ensure the kitchen runs smoothly.

Qualifications and Requirements

- Experience in food preparation, including vegetable and meat handling. - Ability to perform various cooking techniques, such as stir-frying, deep-frying, and steaming. - Knowledge of kitchen equipment maintenance and basic troubleshooting. - Strong understanding of kitchen hygiene and cleanliness practices. - Ability to perform stock checks and manage inventory. - Attention to detail when checking invoices and incoming goods. - Ability to work well with other kitchen staff. - Reliable and punctual.
