Accounting Manager

Description

The Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing the full set of accounts, ensuring timely monthly and yearly closing. This includes preparing management reports, audit schedules, and handling costing reports for all outlets. The role involves ensuring inter-company transactions are reconciled across multiple companies and reviewing quarterly GST submissions. The Accounting Manager will also ensure accurate filing and compliance with legislative tax and financial reporting policies. The position requires liaising with external auditors and performing any other duties as assigned by the management.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Oversee the preparation and management of the full set of accounts, ensuring accurate and timely completion of monthly and year-end closing processes. * Generate and present monthly and annual management reports, including the audit schedule, to the Finance Manager for review and analysis. * Prepare and maintain detailed costing reports for all outlets on a monthly basis, along with any additional financial reports requested by management. * Reconcile inter-company transactions across multiple entities, ensuring consistency and accuracy between companies. * Prepare and review quarterly GST submissions, ensuring compliance with applicable tax regulations and deadlines. * Ensure that all financial records, reports, and documentation are filed accurately and promptly, in accordance with regulatory and company requirements. * Ensure compliance with all relevant financial, tax, and accounting policies, including legislative and reporting obligations, to meet the necessary legal standards. * Take responsibility for various ad-hoc duties as assigned by management, which may include additional reporting, analysis, or process improvements. * Collaborate with external auditors during audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations to ensure smooth and efficient audit processes.

Qualifications and Requirements

* Minimum Diploma in Accountancy. * At least 4 years of experience handling full sets of accounts, preferably in the F&B sector. * Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and Million software (preferred). * Positive working attitude and a strong commitment to accuracy.
