Finance Manager

Description

This Finance Manager role is responsible for overseeing financial planning, analysis, billing, and expense management for the Singapore office and subsidiary companies across Southeast Asia. This includes managing finance personnel and external service providers, ensuring compliance with financial reporting standards, and developing financial models to support strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Conduct financial planning and analysis to support informed decision-making, including providing variance analysis for monthly and quarterly performance reports. * Develop cash flow projections, quarterly forecasts, and annual budgets at both the consolidated group level and individual country levels. * Support the preparation of consolidated financial statements for the organization. * Act as a key contact for auditors on group-level audit matters. * Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. * Oversee finance staff and manage relationships with external corporate service providers in regional offices located in Vietnam, Malaysia, and Indonesia. * Review and enhance existing financial procedures and systems to improve the organization's financial operations and overall efficiency. * Act as the Business Integrity (BI) compliance officer, maintaining and updating relevant information within the company's environmental, social, and governance (ESG) management system.

Qualifications and Requirements

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field. * A minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience. * A proactive problem-solving approach with a strong attention to detail. * Excellent communication skills. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Xero accounting software. * Experience with financial modeling tools used by startups, such as Causal, Finmark, or similar software, is preferred. * Experience working within a venture-backed startup, venture capital firm, or private equity firm is a plus. * Experience with project finance related to energy or infrastructure projects is also a plus.
