Supervisor

Responsibilities and Duties

- Manage daily cafe operations, including opening and closing procedures. - Supervise and motivate cafe staff, providing guidance, training, and support. - Ensure efficient and friendly customer service, resolving customer issues and inquiries. - Maintain and enforce health and safety standards, ensuring a clean and safe environment. - Monitor inventory, place orders, and manage stock levels. - Assist in menu planning and pricing strategies. - Schedule staff shifts and create work rosters. - Maintain quality control of food and beverages, ensuring consistency and freshness. - Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate goals and expectations. - Collaborate with the management to implement marketing and promotional strategies. - Handle cash register operations, including handling payments and reconciling cash drawers. - Track and report on sales, expenses, and cafe performance. - Adhere to company policies and procedures. - Promote a positive team culture and a welcoming atmosphere for customers.

Qualifications and Requirements

- Previous experience in a cafe or food service industry. - Proven supervisory or leadership experience. - Strong customer service and communication skills. - Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations. - Ability to handle cash and use point-of-sale systems. - Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills. - Flexibility in working shifts, including weekends and holidays. - A passion for coffee and food is a plus.
