Responsibilities and Duties

*Support the Chef de Cuisine in managing daily kitchen operations *Lead and coordinate the culinary team, ensuring optimal staffing and smooth workflow *Maintain high standards of food preparation and presentation while meeting all safety and hygiene regulations *Contribute to the creation of new menu items and help implement strategies for controlling food costs *Mentor and coach kitchen staff to improve skills and maintain consistency *Ensure food safety and quality standards meet regulatory expectations, including SFA compliance and QA targets *Handle essential administrative tasks such as documentation, scheduling, and reporting

Qualifications and Requirements

*Certificate in Culinary Skills or GCE 'O' Level (or equivalent qualifications) *Minimum of 5 years of culinary experience in hotels or upscale restaurants, with a strong focus on Western cuisine *Solid leadership and communication abilities, with a collaborative management style *Familiarity with HACCP principles and food safety protocols *Comfortable using Microsoft Office tools for administrative work
