Responsibilities and Duties
* Operational Excellence: Oversee comprehensive daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, stock control, and ensuring the smooth flow of service. Maintain high standards for food preparation, presentation, and overall hygiene. * Team Leadership & Development: Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Monitor performance, provide constructive feedback, and ensure optimal team coverage. * Customer Service Excellence: Lead by example in providing outstanding customer service. Effectively address customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints to ensure high levels of guest satisfaction. Manage wait times and resolve service-related issues promptly. * Financial Management: Handle daily cash flow, manage sales records, prepare end-of-day reports, and monitor sales targets. Implement strategies to increase revenue and ensure accurate handling of all payment types. * Compliance & Safety: Ensure strict adherence to all local health, safety, and licensing regulations. Conduct regular checks to mitigate hazards and maintain comprehensive records of inspections and certifications. * Marketing & Promotions: Develop and implement local marketing initiatives, promotions, and events to attract and retain customers. Maintain visual appeal and signage to enhance the establishment's brand presence. * Problem-Solving & Improvement: Efficiently address operational challenges, including equipment issues or staffing shortages. Handle emergencies calmly and identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in a management role within the F&B or customer service industry. * Demonstrated expertise in general management, customer service, and operational oversight. * Strong leadership capabilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Proficiency in financial management, including sales tracking and cash handling. * Knowledge of local food safety and hygiene regulations. * Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. * Experience with creative scheduling and staff management is a plus.
