Responsibilities and Duties

* Take ownership of and manage all aspects of the kitchen's operation. * Prepare both hot and cold dishes, fulfilling orders according to precise specifications. * Contribute to the creative process of planning and developing new menus and recipes. * Supervise, train, and mentor kitchen staff, ensuring a consistent level of performance across the team. * Maintain rigorous quality control over all food prepared, ensuring excellent presentation. * Ensure the correct handling and storage of all food items, adhering to established standards and sanitation guidelines. * Provide support in overall restaurant operations to guarantee a seamless service. * Work towards maintaining planned food costs within budgetary guidelines.

Qualifications and Requirements

* Possession of a food hygiene audit certificate (issued by relevant authority) is advantageous. * Minimum of a basic food hygiene certificate (issued by relevant authority) is required. * At least five years of relevant experience in a kitchen environment.
