Description

We're in search of a skilled culinary professional to oversee the daily food service operations across our various dining venues, including banquet events and special food and beverage promotions. This role demands a proactive individual who can ensure top-tier quality and efficiency in all kitchen activities.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Support the lead chefs in daily operations, particularly in organizing and preparing for banquet events. * Maintain impeccable hygiene and cleanliness standards throughout all kitchen spaces. * Verify the freshness and quality of all prepared ingredients daily. * Adhere to standardized recipes for all food preparation and presentation. * Implement and enforce a first-in, first-out system for all prepared ingredients. * Ensure all necessary prepared ingredients are ready for a la carte service. * Regularly inspect and clean all kitchen equipment. * Assist in preparing ingredients for banquet events and special orders. * Maintain excellent personal hygiene at all times. * Provide on-the-job training to team members on cooking techniques, product knowledge, and food safety. * Collaborate with chefs to develop new menu items, ideas, and concepts. * Conduct food inventory and contribute to food cost control. * Complete any additional tasks assigned by supervisors or management. * Adhere to workplace safety and health protocols, safe work practices, and safety regulations. * Avoid any unsafe or negligent actions that could endanger oneself or others. * Properly use provided personal protective equipment.

Qualifications and Requirements

* General secondary education certificate or specialized culinary arts certification. * Four to five years of relevant experience, with food safety and hygiene certification. * Ability to generate creative and innovative menu items, preparation methods, and food presentations. * Ability to handle multiple tasks and manage time effectively. * Strong leadership skills to motivate and guide a team. * Reliable and collaborative team player. * Effective communication and interpersonal skills. * Excellent customer service orientation.
