Assistant Restaurant Manager

We are looking for a proactive and committed individual to take on the role of Assistant Restaurant Manager. The Assistant Manager will help oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, support the management team, and ensure staff deliver outstanding service while meeting performance standards.

Responsibilities and Duties

*Support the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently. *Supervise and guide team members to maintain a high level of customer service. *Help train new staff and provide ongoing coaching to existing team members. *Handle customer concerns or complaints in a calm and professional manner. *Maintain cleanliness, safety, and hygiene standards across the restaurant. *Participate in scheduling shifts and organizing staff coverage based on operational needs. *Assist in managing inventory, placing supply orders, and ensuring stock levels are maintained. *Monitor team performance and provide constructive feedback where necessary. *Work closely with management to develop and implement improvements to daily processes. *Ensure compliance with all restaurant policies, procedures, and health regulations.

Qualifications and Requirements

*Previous experience in a supervisory or team lead role within a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly desirable. *Strong leadership qualities and excellent organizational skills. *Ability to handle workplace conflicts and resolve them in a fair and tactful manner. *A high level of reliability, honesty, and professionalism. *Capable of remaining objective and neutral during disagreements or staff issues. *Willingness to work on a rotating schedule, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays.
