Junior Sous Chef

Description

We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to support our culinary team in the vital tasks of food preparation, cooking, and presentation within a designated kitchen area. Working under the direction of the Head Chef, the successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment. This position offers flexibility with two different work schedule options to suit various preferences.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Provide support in the preparation of ingredients for cooking. * Assist in the cooking process of various dishes according to established guidelines. * Contribute to the appealing presentation of all food items. * Maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization within the assigned work station. * Support overall kitchen efficiency by adhering to established procedures. * Follow the guidance and instructions provided by the Head Chef.

Qualifications and Requirements

* A willingness to learn and contribute to a fast-paced kitchen environment. * Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team. * A commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards. * Basic understanding of food preparation techniques is a plus. * Flexibility to work according to one of the available schedule options: * 4 days per week (approximately 35 hours) * 5 days per week (approximately 44 hours)
