Responsibilities and Duties

* Assist in preparing food items by following standard methods, recipe guides, visual references, and instructions provided. * Prepare and cook food across various kitchen sections as instructed and needed. * Ensure food items are ready on schedule and meet consistent standards for quality and presentation. * Help coordinate food production, manage stock, and maintain quality control. * Keep your work area organized to ensure timely meal preparation and maintain a clean and orderly environment. * Regularly check the quality of prepared food, paying attention to taste and temperature, in line with established standards. * Monitor and strictly adhere to portion control guidelines specified in recipes to minimize waste and spoilage. * Help maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen, equipment, workstations, and the overall environment.

Qualifications and Requirements

* Possess at least one to two years of relevant experience in a kitchen setting. * Holding a Food Hygiene Certificate is advantageous. * Must be willing to work on a rotating shift schedule, including weekends and public holidays. * Be a motivated team member with effective communication skills.
