Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Credit & Admin Executive to manage day-to-day invoicing, receipts, and payments. The role involves assisting with document collection, conducting preliminary assessments, and overseeing credit risk evaluations. The Credit & Admin Executive will ensure timely collection of outstanding payments, communicate with clients to resolve overdue invoices, and escalate issues when necessary. The role also includes working with legal or collections agencies for accounts requiring further action, handling inquiries, and being the primary contact for credit-related matters. Additional responsibilities include supporting the Sales and Operations teams, tracking project progress, organizing files, assisting with month-end and year-end procedures, and maintaining confidentiality.
Responsibilities and Duties
Manage daily invoicing, receipts, and payments. Assist in the collection, preliminary assessment, and compilation of documents. Oversee credit risk assessments and ensure the timely collection of outstanding payments. Communicate with clients to secure payment for overdue invoices, escalating issues as needed. Collaborate with legal or collections agencies for accounts that require further action. Screen phone calls, inquiries, and requests, and address them as appropriate, serving as the primary contact for clients regarding credit, payments, and collections. Work closely with the Sales and Operations teams. Assist in monitoring the progress of specific projects, including deadlines, deliverables, and meeting schedules. Organize and manage both physical and electronic files, ensuring easy accessibility of all documents. Support month-end and year-end closing procedures, ensuring financial data is accurate and current. Maintain a high level of confidentiality with sensitive personal or professional information.
Qualifications and Requirements
A-Level, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Proven experience in credit control, invoicing, or finance-related administrative roles. Strong knowledge of financial processes, including invoicing, receipts, payments, and credit risk assessments. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and internal teams. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail. Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality. Experience working with legal or collections agencies is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to escalate issues when necessary. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Familiarity with month-end and year-end closing procedures is preferred. Ability to manage and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
