Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to take on a leadership role within our service team. This position involves ensuring smooth and efficient service operations while upholding the highest standards of hygiene and safety. The successful candidate will be responsible for taking reservations, presenting our offerings to guests, accurately processing orders and payments, and leading a team of servers during their shift. This role also includes inventory management, assisting with event planning, and ensuring adherence to operational procedures, all while striving to provide exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Consistently follow all established hygiene and safety protocols. * Manage reservation bookings and understand the nature of guest visits. * Introduce the menu, highlight promotions and daily specials to patrons. * Accurately take food and drink orders, confirm orders with guests, and provide estimated service times. * Supervise and guide a team of servers assigned to each shift. * Efficiently input guest orders into the Point-of-Sale system. * Process guest payments and present bills promptly and accurately. * Support the assistant general manager in the planning and execution of special events. * Regularly and accurately monitor food and beverage inventory and stock levels. * Complete all necessary opening, operational, and closing tasks. * Address and resolve any issues related to cashier payments. * Escalate guest complaints to the duty manager when service recovery cannot be independently resolved. * Follow all established standard operating procedures. * Perform any other relevant duties and responsibilities as directed.

Qualifications and Requirements

* Possess a strong understanding of hygiene and safety regulations within a food service environment. * Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Exhibit accuracy and efficiency in order-taking and payment processing. * Previous experience in a food and beverage service role is required. * Proven ability to lead and guide a team effectively. * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly with inventory. * Ability to handle guest interactions professionally and resolve issues effectively. * Familiarity with Point-of-Sale (POS) systems is advantageous. * Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
