Restaurant Supervisor

Description

As a Restaurant Supervisor, you will be a pivotal part of the team, responsible for overseeing daily restaurant operations, enhancing the guest experience, and ensuring the highest standards of food and service quality. You will lead the front-of-house team, ensuring a welcoming and efficient atmosphere, and address customer needs promptly.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Direct and oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring all staff deliver outstanding service and uphold stringent quality standards. * Lead and motivate the front-of-house team, including servers, hosts, and runners, promoting teamwork, productivity, and a positive work environment. * Manage guest seating, service flow, and optimize table management to ensure exceptional guest satisfaction. * Monitor staff performance, conduct regular training sessions, and provide coaching to elevate service and operational standards. * Verify that all food and beverage items are served promptly, accurately, and to the highest quality. * Address customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests, resolving issues quickly to maintain guest satisfaction. * Assist with inventory management, order supplies, and ensure consistent stock levels. * Maintain compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards, ensuring a clean and organized workspace. * Collaborate with the management team to implement promotions, special events, and seasonal menu changes. * Support staff scheduling, timekeeping, and manage labor costs effectively. * Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and securing the premises. * Provide support to the restaurant manager with administrative tasks and daily operational reports as required.

* Prior experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or food service industry. * A genuine desire to exceed expectations and create memorable experiences for guests. * A positive and enthusiastic attitude, with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. * Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in a fast-paced environment. * A proactive approach, taking initiative and ownership of responsibilities. * Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems is considered an advantage.
