Description
We are seeking multiple experienced Senior Sous Chefs who are passionate about culinary innovation and excellence. You will lead the research and development of dishes across a variety of cuisines including Thai, Chinese, Western, Japanese, Korean, Indian, Vietnamese, and Bakery. This role is ideal for chefs who are creative, detail-oriented, and thrive in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities and Duties
*Assist in the creation, preparation, and refinement of recipes for assigned cuisine(s). *Support the daily operations of a high-volume catering kitchen, ensuring efficiency and quality. *Maintain strict adherence to food safety and hygiene standards as per NEA regulations. *Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, quantity, and quality of dishes in accordance with the company’s standard recipes. *Conduct checks on inventory quality and quantity, and ensure proper storage of ingredients. *Work collaboratively with all levels of staff including supervisors, peers, and kitchen teams to ensure optimal kitchen performance and customer satisfaction. *Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Executive Chef or Kitchen Manager.
Qualifications and Requirements
*Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar senior culinary role. *Specialization or strong familiarity with one or more of the following cuisines: Thai, Chinese, *Western, Japanese, Korean, Indian, Vietnamese, or Bakery. *Excellent culinary and food presentation skills. *Strong teamwork, leadership, and interpersonal skills. *Innovative mindset with a passion for menu development and experimentation. *Able to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment and respond well to challenges. *Willingness to work in the West region of Singapore.
