Description

The Housekeeping Runner supports housekeeping operations by ensuring timely delivery of guest requests and maintaining cleanliness throughout the hotel. Responsibilities include reporting room damage, delivering linens and amenities, replenishing guest supplies, and assisting with valet services. The role involves maintaining equipment, supporting guest needs, and adhering to brand standards. Additionally, the Housekeeping Runner ensures proper grooming, responds to emergencies, and reports lost items or guest complaints promptly.

Responsibilities and Duties

Report room damage or malfunctions to supervisor. Receive daily tasks from supervisor and attend required meetings/training. Coordinate with Housekeeping Supervisor on chemical usage and issues. Ensure timely delivery of guest requests and services. Perform valet services, including linen delivery and laundry processing. Count and verify linens delivered by vendors. Deliver amenities to guest rooms and pantries, following brand standards. Replenish guest supplies as needed. Wash and refill GE bottles, and launder bed linens. Maintain section room report and daily room checklist. Clean and maintain guest rooms, corridors, linen rooms, and cupboards. Ensure equipment is clean and in good repair. Stay informed on hotel events to meet guest needs. Assist guests and escort them to hotel locations as needed. Follow brand standards and hygiene requirements. Respond to emergencies as required. Complete tasks as directed by management. Report lost and found items and guest complaints to supervisor.

Qualifications and Requirements

Primary education or equivalent. Some housekeeping experience preferred. Strong communication skills for interacting with customers, employees, and third parties. Ability to reflect positively on the hotel, brand, and company. Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing English.
