Description
A Sales Supervisor is essential to the success of an organization, leading and coordinating the daily activities of sales representatives to ensure they achieve their targets. They collaborate closely with the store manager, general manager, and production manager to stay aligned on evolving customer needs. Acting as a bridge between the company and its customers, the sales supervisor must anticipate customer demands and help design products that meet these changing needs.
Responsibilities and Duties
Oversee the sales team's activities, including marketing initiatives like product activations. Support the line manager in recruiting, training, compensating, and retaining a skilled sales team. Provide top management with various reports such as sales, lead generation, customer complaints, and new client onboarding. Prepare sales presentations and develop other necessary sales tools. Assist line managers in ensuring effective client communication, maintaining relationships, and gathering feedback. Initiate sales strategies, activities, and plans to increase brand visibility. Serve as a role model for employees, demonstrating strong work ethic, habits, and professional character. Maintain accurate records of prospects, leads, pricing, sales activities, and active clients. Monitor and control marketing expenses to ensure they stay within the allocated budget. Represent the organization at trade shows and marketing events. Assess the performance of the sales team and identify ways to enhance performance. Identify current and future market trends that may impact the organization's performance. Ensure proper product displays in malls, supermarkets, and other sales locations.
Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a business-related field, with a focus on marketing. Proven experience in marketing and consistently meeting targets. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to lead and motivate a sales team while implementing strategies to retain top talent. Exceptional sales skills with the ability to close deals and address post-purchase concerns. People-oriented with a strong ability to inspire and motivate a team. Skilled in identifying growth opportunities and establishing new business partnerships. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Ability to work effectively under pressure. Flexibility to work during operational hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
