Description

This role is critical for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of all Human Resources functions within the organization. The HR Generalist will be responsible for a wide range of HR activities, from recruitment and onboarding to employee relations and administration.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Manage the entire employee lifecycle, including recruitment, work pass applications and approvals, onboarding procedures, and employee offboarding. * Serve as the primary point of contact for all HR-related inquiries and operational matters. * Handle employee relations issues, including disciplinary cases and employee grievances. * Act as a liaison between employees, management, and clients to address manpower needs. * Collaborate with subcontractors/partners on HR and payroll matters, negotiating and communicating employment terms. * Update HR-Finance reports on monthly staff changes for payroll processing. * Ensure timely closure of leave and attendance records for accurate payroll processing. * Generate payslips and address employee inquiries regarding payroll matters promptly and professionally. * Prepare employment contracts, letters, and other relevant HR documentation. * Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HRIS systems and physical files. * Ensure the security and confidentiality of all employee data. * Assist with stationery and PPE inventory management, including transmittal and preparation. * Ensure proper recording and filing of all administrative documents. * Provide general administrative support, including scheduling meetings, document preparation, and correspondence. * Support the tender team in sieving through candidate profiles for project proposals and answering HR-related clarifications. * Assist with the tender process and meetings. * Assist in the process and validation of ISO certifications and other relevant licenses. * Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

* Diploma or Degree in Human Resources Management, or a related field. * Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in HR and Admin functions. * Strong understanding of HR principles, employment laws, and HR best practices. * Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. * Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. * Ability to effectively resolve employee issues and address HR challenges. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), HRIS systems, and other relevant software. * Accuracy and attention to detail in data entry and record-keeping. * Team-oriented and able to work effectively with individuals at all levels. * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. * Possess a good work ethic and a strong sense of responsibility. * Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.
