CDP / Sous Chef

Description

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join the culinary teams of our restaurants, conveniently located in the central business district, near Esplanade and Downtown MRT stations. This role involves active participation in the culinary operations of our selected cuisine restaurants, working closely with senior chefs on menu execution and daily preparations. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food, possess a strong work ethic, and be committed to upholding high standards of hygiene and operational procedures. Responsibilities and Duties

* Participate actively in the culinary operations of our designated cuisine restaurants. * Assist in the execution of new menus in collaboration with the Head Chef and Directors. * Handle the daily operational tasks and the preparation of mise en place. * Ensure strict adherence to food hygiene standards and established operating procedures. * Maintain consistent attendance and adhere to the duty roster and work schedule.

Qualifications and Requirements

* A genuine passion for food, strong leadership potential, and the ability to support the chef in kitchen management. * A food-focused, dynamic attitude with a strong willingness to learn and develop culinary skills. * At least one year of experience in the food and beverage industry; more experienced candidates may be considered for senior roles. * Relevant experience will be taken into account for more senior positions such as Chef de Partie, Junior Sous Chef, and Sous Chef. * Good communication skills in both English and Mandarin. * Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with others. * Must be 18 years of age or older. * Ability to work both independently and as a collaborative member of a team.
